The prestigious yacht manufacturer have the biggest stand at the show and therefore a big presence is paramount.

Christmas at Westfield London

Big Screen Media will be back in Westfield again this Christmas, supplying a huge 5m x 3m 3mm LED Screen for the Walking With Dinosaurs Augmented Reality experience. The installation, which will be in for one week, is part of the launch of the new WWD Film, which is to be Premeired on the 15th December.

The augmented reality experience is the brainchild of Appshaker, who have now devised many Apps and software applications, bringing things to life on the big screen, in the augmented world.

The screen will be constructed from BSM's latest 3.9mm LED product, which, for the first time will be able to be flown off of the house lighting grid in Westifeld Stratfords main atrium. In the past, this has never been possible, because traditional LED panels weigh far too much, however with a weight of just 3KG per panels, the Glux IDsN3, comes in at minimal 280KG, including truss, a first for its kind.

Alex Hall, Head of operations at Big Screen Media comments;-

'The new ultra-lightweight range of indoor and outdoor screen from Glux is revolutionary. It has opened up a whole host of opportunities for the industry and most importantly has cut logistic and rigging costs by more than half over traditional LED'

Ferrari choose Big Screen Media

Big Screen Media were proud to be awarded the exclusive contract with Ferrari to provide LED screen and broadcast package for the various UK Launches of their new flagship 458 Speciale sports car.

The brief was to come up with a bespoke concept for the car launch, but incorporating ideas other than standard flat screens. BSM chose to use its new 3mm ultra lightweight LED panels, which are also curvabe,- both concave and convex. The final design chosen was a 5m wide concave screen, which gave the look of being 'wrapped' around the car. As well as this BSM supplied a full VT package, along with a Blackmagic ATEM 2 M/E switcher and 1 M/E Panel, where Lower thirds and graphics were created for the presentation side of the events. Two Panasonic HE-60 Full HD Hothead cameras were positioned strategically around the car, to provide shots of the presenter, the car and audience anticipation shots throughout. A VT of each show was done using an Atomos Samurai.
